InnovaCrew Announces
Acquisition of Expetec Technology Services of Sacramento
ROSEVILLE, CALIFORNIA,
APRIL 30, 2004
InnovaCrew, a leading Roseville-based computer and
network support firm, announced today that it has
acquired certain assets and customer base of Expetec
Technology Services of Sacramento. Citrus Heights-based
Expetec of Sacramento was the local franchisee of the
Expetec corporate franchise based in Aberdeen, SD.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
InnovaCrew has agreed to fulfill Expetec’s remaining
service contract obligations to its small business
customers. These obligations included maintenance and
monitoring of customers’ computer systems and networks,
as well as managing data backup processes.
“As the economy and job climate improves, we’re starting
to see many freelance computer service firms give up
their independent practices and return to regular
employment,” said Josh Jacoby, President and founder of
InnovaCrew. “We’re happy to provide a smooth transition
for Expetec’s customers and to show them what InnovaCrew
can do for them at the same time.”
InnovaCrew, founded in 2000 by Josh Jacoby, specializes
in providing computer and network support services to
small and medium-sized companies with five to 50
computers. The company serves several industries
including health care, mortgage and financial services,
non-profits, and manufacturing. InnovaCrew has
historically grown by word of mouth and referrals, and
this represents the company’s first acquisition. The
company currently has three employees and has its
offices in 1,700 square feet of space in Historic Old
Roseville.
